Today's recipe is my soul food recipe,something that just warms you up from within..easy to prepare ..here are the ingredients
Ingredients
1 cup of rice
1 cup of moong dal(yellow)/toor dal ..you can use either of the two
5-6 cloves of garlic chopped very fine,1inch of ginger grated
1 medium sized onion chopped fine
A few curry leaves & 1/2 a cup of chopped coriander
1/2 tsp of kanda lasun masala (optional)
Salt to taste & juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 tsp of mustard seeds,hing/asafotedia & cumin seeds
1/2 tsp of haldi /turmeric powder
For the tadka …2-3 cloves of garlic chopped very fine & 2-3 dried red chillies cut
