Hi, makers! Welcome back to another quilt block video! I was really inspired by the print Meadow Mandala Awaken from our Meriwether fabric collection because I was just crazy to fussy cut one of the designs for the center of a quilt block. If you’re new to the quilting world, fussy cutting means cutting out a specific design on the fabric to highlight it. I looked to the Art Gallery Fabrics website in search of the perfect pattern and came across our “Iris” quilt block pattern and saw the opportunity to allow this print to shine. I believe this quilt block would be ideal to be turned into a mother’s day quilt! You get to fussy cut your favorite design for the center and use these soft colors that are ideal for the spring too. It’s worth mentioning that this block is super easy to make, you'll be able to whip one up in no time and make your mom feel extra special for the holiday! I hope you enjoy this tutorial and if you did, give it a thumbs up and make sure to subscribe.
