@holy_braille5 years ago Whoa. The internet says he has a 98% knockout ratio. And the man has fought over 40 times. The word "impressive" doesn't do any justice to those two sentences 303

@DareBear20995 years ago I used to go to a boxing gym in Maryland, one of the trainers at the gym was Roger Leonard (Sugar's brother, also a former professional boxer with a winning record). He told a group of kids training at the gym that "If you don't go in with the mindset of wanting to rip the other guys head off, you're going to lose every single time" That stuck out and imprinted in my brain and I understand why Wilder said that "I'm going to Kill him" thing. ... 10

@stephenprior81255 years ago Load of bollocks do you know the rules, the 10 count starts when the fighter goes to the neutral corner so fury had loads a time to get up to be fair 9

@EarthtoAdam955 years ago The knockdown count only starts when the other fighter goes back to their corner. And fury won... plain and simple. Yeah he was knocked down, but that’s just scored at a 10-8 to wilder. I was to be generous to wilder it’d be 3 rounds to fury’s 9 rounds. Fury wins. ... 75

    @MarkWalmsley5 years ago "He's a sweetheart"?! Urgh! 21
  • @
@mrthundaboots5 years ago There is somebody counting at ringside once a knockdown occurs. The ref makes sure the guy gets to the neutral corner and takes over the count from ringside....
  • @
@craigdobbin35215 years ago The count should start when the fighter is in nthe eutral corner. And the time man out side the ring plays a part 1
  • @
@paydayjay7175 years ago It is a count to 10, not a 10 second count. However I do think that the count should be standardized by something more accurate... like a time clock lol. 4

@ryans54765 years ago There's a time keeper who initiates actual seconds from a device using their fingers ringside. The referee will typically synchronize with the time keeper in the event of a knock down but exceptions do happen.

@user-gd7fx4jf5c5 years ago Got 2 give credit where it’s due, Deontay is a talented athlete but he is definitely no Mike Tyson... Iron Mike could make other fighters miss with that elusive weave with a loaded left hook and right uppercut that would destroy his opponents, greatest Heavyweight Boxer in his prime when Cus was alive! ... 7
  • @
@TheUsurperJoffreyBaratheon5 years ago I’m confused about the 10 count rant, there was a ringside judge counting the second breazeale got knocked out. So was there no ring side judge during the fury fight?
  • @
@MrLeoMessio5 years ago A boxing count is not by seconds it’s a “count” by a judge 2

@donpepeho45345 years ago There is a ref outside the ring that is supposed to start the count, and the ref in the ring picks up the count after getting the fighter get to the neutral corner. You can see the outside ref start the count in this fight. I guess the one for the Fury fight wasn't very familiar with counting ...

@AFundz-lm2wj5 years ago Wilder has only fought one good boxer, and he lost 13

@paddy44835 years ago AJ had only boxed for 2 years and won Gold at the Olympics at a higher weight class than wilder! 3
  • @
@toby1conoby15 years ago The ten count starts when the other fighter goes to a neutral corner. What the fuck you talking bout joe. 1
  • @
@asswuppin5 years ago " If you go by an actual clock, Tyson Fury lost that 10 count "
This is the kind of honesty that makes Joe Rogan worth listening to.
" What the fuck is a 10 count for if its not 10 seconds? "
    " Human error? "
    Once is human error.
Twice in the SAME FIGHT is a deliberate choice.
Jack Reiss not only did those things, but he told Fury to walk to the far corner and back before he restarted the action again AFTER EACH KNOCKOUT!
Reiss later went on to state that he did what was " best for boxing ".
    Wow!
Joe Rogan is a REAL DUDE for stating this level of truth on social media.
    I applaud him.

  • @
@tisISspahrtuh5 years ago The count starts when the opponent goes to the other side of the ring 1
  • @
@miggs805 years ago A 10 count doesn’t start as soon as a boxer gets dropped, it never has. A referee begins his “10 count” once he is in position to access the vital/cognitive signs of a fighter after the fighter hits the canvas. The count is not 10 seconds in total. Fury got up in time end of story. Come on Joe. ... 1

@justlooking10875 years ago Wait what? He didn't take the DAZN money so that he can fight Joshua? Lol is that the excuse he's giving now? The DAZN deal was a 3 fight deal including 2 fights with Joshua.
And don't insult Tyson like that, Tyson had much more skill than Wilder.
