Here is the (so far) final version. There are a few bugs that make presenting it rather unpleasant. Many of the bugs can be fixed: (1) the derailing (no problem with adding rail cover) (2) car going down hits another car on the spiral (this was originally flawless, but as I added 1 plate layer to the car, it happens) - I can move the slide part further and avoid the collision. (3) car going down the spiral does not arrive at the beginning of the belt. I can extend the belt further :) (4) in the loading tower - the car is unable to turn the turnstile - can be fixed by making all the gears' frictions loose. But after a time, you will get there again. This also happens when a ball is squeezed at the top of the tower by the wheel with 2 pins. Very unpleasant business :) (5) at the end of my video, you can see what happens very rarely: the car's door opens too quickly too much. I have not figured out a solution yet. (6) two cars getting close to each other: causes problems in both loading and unloading the car (rarely in unloading, more often in loading). I think the key is to fix the "two cars get too close to each other". I would love to implement what Pierre Georges did for the chairlift: a cable car stops a tire and releases it later - this stops/moves the next car. It creates the needed gap. I need something like this! I hope you like the video and my progress.
