Shree Antu is a famous tourist destination for observing Sunrise. The legendary sunrise view spot Shree Antu Danda is located at an altitude of 2328m from sea level. The tradition of homestay in this region is believed to have begun from Antu. The major attractions of the area are the sunrise view, Antu Pokhari, Sungava farming, and the Lepcha culture. A fascinating view of Mt. Kanchajunga, Indian border areas, and swathes of Ilam and Jhapa can also be observed from the place.
