INGREDIENTS :
For Marinating Fish :
Fish / pomfret : 750 g
Turmeric Powder : 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 1/4 tbsp
Fennel Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1/2 tbsp
Salt - taste
Coconut Oil - for frying fish
For Masala :
Onion - 5 ( Sliced )
Ginger - 2 inch pieces ( crushed )
Garlic - 10 - 12 (crushed )
Green Chillies - 12 ( crushed )
Tomato - 5 ( chopped )
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Fennel Powder - 2 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - less than 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Peppercorns - 3/4 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 Lemon
Curd - 1/2 cup
Salt - to taste
Fried & non fried fish pieces
Oil - 3 tbsp + 2 tbsp from frying
For Rice :
Jeerakashala Rice / Biriyani Rice - 3 cups / 750 g
Oil - 3 tbsp
Onion - 1 ( Sliced )
Cardamom - 4
Cloves - 4
Cinnamon Stick - 1
Green Chillies - 2 ( crushed )
Ginger - 1 1/2 tbsp (crushed )
Garlic - 1 tbsp ( crushed )
Water - 6 cups
Salt - to taste
For Garnishing & Dum
Fried onion
Fried Cashew Nuts & Raisins
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Garam Masala Powder
