Welcome to my first toy train review! For Christmas, I have decided to do a review of my North Pole Express train set, manufactured by EZTEC and Scientific Toys LTD. This version of the train contains a locomotive, a coal tender, and four additional cars, for a total of six parts. I purchased the train in 2014 to replace another Christmas train, and since then, it has been operating every Christmas season without any problems. Of course, owing to their cheap nature, these types of trains are not the best, but I was satisfied with the way the train ran, and believe it or not, it actually runs better than the Christmas train I was running before this one! This video goes through the basic operating principles of the train, in addition to the contents that came with the set. Then, several runs of the train are then performed. As the train has survived without a single battery change since November 2018, it is obvious that it’s not running as fast as it was before, but at least it's a decent speed for this video. However, if you don't like the amount of noise the train makes, which includes the motor, sounds and music, you might want to lower your volume. Overall, these trains are rather cheap and are more of a product for young children instead of a model railroader, but I’m pretty sure you’ll love it as much as I did! Of course, there are many variations of the North Pole Express train set, so the version of the North Pole Express you have (or buy) will most likely be different from mine. Because this is my first product review, it obviously isn’t the best, and I’ll try my best improve from there when I do more product reviews in the future. Otherwise, I do hope you found this review helpful! Feel free to leave a comment if you want to know more about this train set and any similar train sets may by Scientific and EZTEC. PS: My cat Vicky says hi, as you will see her in this video. She sadly passed away in July of 2023. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! Have a healthy and safe new year! Expect videos from my vacation to Toronto beginning tomorrow! Bonus POV Footage: /watch/YvaYrHhwPSBwY
