Why Nepal burns their dead Kathmandu, Nepal

Before heading to the airport I decided to have one last look around Kathmandu. Thankfully I was staying close to the Pashupatinath Temple. A Hindu temple in Nepal's capital, famous for cremating the dead along the Bagmati River in full view. I was curious to explore the area and try to find out why. Luckily I bumped into an amazing guide who was able to supply me with more than enough information to quell my curiosity. Later we explore some more of the surrounding areas.
