Russian sprot ration, an interesting reproduction from the guys at repro rations. I didnt care for the fish myself, everything else was decent. I wish I had a something to properly make the tea. This was an early video of mine, so it is not perfect. Thanks for watching! @davidreeves14083 years ago Pour sunflour seeds into the emptied cardboard carton of the tea.
Now open the clear plastic tea packet and insert the tea into the eptied cloth drawbag from the sunflower seeds.
Draw shut the string with a granny knot, so its easy to open later.
Dunk the bag into the hot water repeatedly, like a tea-ball. Get the cloth of the bag wet gradually, so it will sink down some into the boiled water.
Now you have hot tea/coffee and a bag to brew with.
Wash the bag with clean cold water when done. Hand it to dry & air, as off the back of your rucksack or epallet. - Ivan.

@johnsnowkumar3594 years ago The canned fish cans and the white bag of sunflower seeds snack may have been tasty, among the rations. The cans of big cookies or crackers in military ration look good, and probably edible even today. The fish can is cooked minced fish, and may be meant for being had on a slice of bread & butter most likely. This cans of sprot fish may have been included to cater to the whims of Baltic provinces origin Soviet soldiers, non Russians who were originally from mainland Russia and military police women, besides the Belarusians and ethnic Russians among Soviet soldiers. ... 1

@Raccoon_A6 years ago The helmet is not a original Russian one. The Russian one has a different kind of liner. The one you have on the video is a post war helmet from one of the soviet satellite states. (Also the beltbuckle and mag pouches are post war) Nice video anyways! ... 2
